Today is day 9 of the no soda or meat situation. The urges for meat have honestly subsided mostly but i'm just sick of cheese! Too much cheese. Need to diversify my food items if i want to try to keep this up at all.
I started this morning off with this:
egg and cheese sandwich
There's a new cafe that opened up across from our building -- there's literally nothing around us so this is great. It's called birch cafe. The interior is so nalini. There are pallets on the way and tree slabs used as signs. Lots of wood items everywhere as decorations! They have a pretty good menu and definitely reasonable prices. Hopefully they stick around.
Tonight we're having chinese food -- always a good veggie option. i actually always like the bean curd items.
Last night we went over to melanie's place for MNF. Angry that the Giants have won a game before the jags but knew that was bound to happen. Melanie made guac (rlly wish i wasn't allergic to avocados) and an eggplant dip. We ended up making out on the Redskins Papa John's deal. For those of you not familiar with the deal, papa john's gives a free topping for each TD the skins score. If they win the game, they double that number. They were giving away 10 free toppings yesterday! We got all the veggies pizza lol. I also picked up morning star buffalo chik'n wings. Those were actually really good -- super buffalo-y and spicy!
Wish it was Friday! We've got another really fun wkend ahead. I'll write more about that tomorrow. Too hungry to think straight right now. lol
