Sunday night I came home to a fully laid patio! We're still missing the bar wall on the first level and the retaining wall all the way around the second level but all-in-all it's functional and beautiful!
Sketchy and his dad are incredible. =) Last night we built a firepit (with adhesive) in the patio. Pictures are all at night so sorry bad quality. The grout/jointing sand is still setting (takes a few days) so it's all sorts of messy with sand, and crazy falling leaves!

Sketchy wants granite top but i like the slate looking top -- seems more weather appropriate too. we'll see what happens. These walls will be built after the bridal shower. Final stages!
It's really amazing to see the foundation and outline of the patio. Knowing that was just a sketchy and vision in my head is incredible. Every part of the patio, including the vision and design is completely us! =) It may have taken some time, but it's getting there and it will be super satisfying when it's done. =)
