Life-List

I found a list of things to do before I die that I wrote in July 2009. This inspired me to then hunt down my on-going list of things I want to do in life. I decided this list needed it's own page.

First, just wanted to share my list from July 2009:

Own a dog
go to law school
Hayride -- pumpkin Patch
See a wedding proposal in person
Fly in a helicopter
Go to Vegas again -- not with family.
Go on a cruise with friends
Stay in a log cabin for a night
plan a wedding
Make DC/VA/MD my forever home.

visit a waterfall in the United States
be a bridesmaid
Hang-glide
Meet a famous politician/movie star/artist
Happen across a movie set

run a 5k
Scrapbook all the random crap i save (tickets to shows/movies/brochures) 
Turn 21.
Compete in some sort of national competition
Have a job that I love because I feel like I'm making a difference even if it’s tiny. 

own season tickets for a favorite sports team
Donate a good amount of money to a charity or organization that focuses in helping underprivileged youth in an educational capacity. OR have a hand in/design a truly rehabilitative program for delinquent youths or program for underprivileged youths to have greater access to educational/extra curricular opportunities!


The running list I've maintained since high school (included the above in this list): 

1. Hit all 50 states.

2. See all football stadiums in person

3. Go to Brazil

4. Go to Greece

5. Go to Switzerland

6. Wine tasting in Napa Valley

7. Plant a tree on Earth Day

8. Take lunch to work for a month straight

9. Buy a house 

10. Brew a batch of beer

11. Get married

12. Own a VW Passat or Infinity G35 Sedan

13. Go to a Super Bowl

14. Stay in a cabin in the mountains 

15. Have a picnic by the Poto

16. Live a whole day without electronics

17. Be a bridesmaid or MOH (WOO!!)

18. Watch the sunrise on the east coast

19. Watch the sunset on the west coast


20. Have a sangria party

21. Have a fondue party

22. Spend a day at Baltimore Harbor 

23. Visit Walden Pond

24. Host a Superbowl party

25. Grow fresh vegetables in a garden

26. See Keith Urban in concert

27. Be someone's "ICE" (in case of emergency) contact

28. Has a baby 

29. Have season tickets to some sporting event

30. Meet someone famous 

31. Run a 5k (actually run it)

32. Outerbanks (Cape Hatteras)

33. Learn all of the Presidents and first ladies in order and by year in office

34. Go to New Zealand

35. Go up in the Washington Monument

36. Own a vacation house (lake house or cabin in mountains)

37. Make an outfit from scratch.

38. Go skiing/snowboarding

39. Own a sports bar/start a business pursuing a passion doing something I love

40. Visit at least 10 breweries

41. Have a wine and cheese party

42. Visit the largest aquarium in the country

43. Take a photography class

44. Get into law school

45. Visit the Ben and Jerry’s factory

46. Go to Hershey Park

47. Visit Natasha in California

48. Make a fire pit in my backyard

49. Go to a Cirque Du Soleil show

52. See Marine 1 land 

53. Watch my brother get married/be happy in life
