This morning was so cold, rainy and dreary. Lucy and Charlie were just as unhappy with the weather, refusing to go outside but continuously whining to go out!
A day that started out pretty rough turned into a pretty decent day.
1. I was pretty productive at work.
2. I tried something new and delicious for lunch -- the Alfredo Montamore from Noodles and Company. Some of you may have seen my status around lunchtime: "mashed potatoes. meatloaf. chicken parm. pho. chili. shepherd's pie. Mac and cheese. Want all the rainy day foods... Right now!" So none of the above, but the pasta was good!

3. I left lucy out of her crate today. Decided why the hell not. She did absolutely NO damage! Came home to find her like this:

4. Made a new dish... Scotch Eggs. Evidently a british food -- have no idea how i had never heard of it given my guyanese/indian background! I generally know all things british or just about. Anyways, co-worker eats them for breakfast. I was intrigued so decided to make them tonight.

surprise egg! They were very different and weird at first, but a few bites in i decided i liked them.
5. finally, giants lost tonight, 0-6! Keeping good pace with the jags. Misery sure does love company. lol
All in all, a pretty good day despite the gloomy situation outside!
