Neon Love

I've recently realized that I'm gravitating towards really bright and neon colored things. Maybe not for home decor (still like modern neutrals for that kinda thing) but definitely in clothing! I recently bought a few lime green and bright teal tops as well as bright hot pink shorts. They seem to make my whole mood happier.

Tonight before heading to the gym, Sketchy and I decided to go check out some shoe stores to get better running shoes. I've actually had my running shoes since 10th grade! I can't believe they're still kicking eight years later. Anyways, clearly time to invest in something new. They say the better the shoes, the better your workout and how you feel. I'm all for that.

The first shoes I noticed were the super bright neon colored sneakers. 

They're so crazy colored but I love it. 

I loved these shoes but was hesitant because they're all quite expensive so i wanted to look around a bit more.

They match his vt basketball shorts. lol i love how bright orange he is at the gym. =)

Here was Day 4 for salads: 

white bean, chick peas and chicken sausage over spinach topped with cheddar cheese and lime juice.

This one was okay but felt a bit heavy. i definitely like salads with beans though -- especially chickpeas. 

I also had lunch with Cassie today, a friend from high school number 2. It was really really nice catching up with her and meeting her boyfriend. Don't think I've seen her since high school! We're hoping to go kayaking on saturday and maybe hanging out that evening.
