Your Items Have Been Shipped...

I love getting those e-mails. Gets me excited that something's going to arrive soon! Then I forget I've ordered things and get excited all over again when there's something at the door!

Amazon is sending us a few items over the next week. We found a great deal on a rug with the colors we like (maroon and black).

 Thinking this will go either under the dining room table or in the mancave. We'll see where it works the best. 

I have been looking everywhere comparing prices of these slanted bookshelves. Finally found one on Amazon which was finally cheaper than the rest! Very excited about this piece because I know exactly where I want to put it and what to put around/above it on the wall. 

Then we got three wall quotes. I like these a lot, mainly because I like quotes, but it also adds structure to a wall to know where to position other items hung around the quote. 

First quote: "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all." I love this quote. It was a quote we used above our bed in the apartment. We recently got a piece for a headboard (we'll see how well that works out) but I'm thinking above the headboard again. I love that it's very cutesy without using the word "love" and also is basically saying we're not perfect/we're kind of a shitshow, but we're happy that way. 

Second quote: "Life takes you unexpected places. Love brings you home." We have a high ceiling situation above our front door. I'm thinking about the blank wall above the front door to put this quote with various size and color frames of random pictures around it to make a wall collage.

Third quote: "Nothing worth having was ever achieved without effort. -- Theodore Roosevelt" I'm thinking wall in the office. Seems very fitting in life. 

Speaking of quotes, I've been writing down random drink-y quotes from country songs (or any songs) that are 1-2 lines for coasters I want to make for bar. Here's what I have right now. 

-"You be my glass of wine, I'll be your shot of whiskey."

-"One more is never enough"

-"Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in hand, life is good today" 

-"Smoke rollin' out the window, an ice cold beer sittin' in the console" 

-"One bottle of wine and two dixie cups, 3AM I fell in love"

-"Red red wine makes me feel so fine"

-"At the end of the day, I'm all they've got, hope on the rocks" 

-"Pretty good at drinking beer" 

-"So hand me one more, that's what I'm here for"

-"I love the nightlife, I love my budlight"

-"Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey. Rain is a good thing"

-"God is good, beer is great, and people are crazy"

-"Where the whiskey flows and the beer chases"

-"Red Solo cup, I fill you up"

-"So I'll just sit here and have another beer in Mexico"

-"Drink a little lemonade, a little less beer, maybe I'll remember my next thirty years"
