Helpful Life Tip

If your car is low on gas, do not park downhill. Evidently that rushes all the gas forward into a space where it cannot be utilized. Sketchy learned this the hard way today.

After not being able to start the car this morning, sketchy took the day off from work. He couldn't take the other car because I needed to be places this afternoon. Around noon we called a towing company. The guy almost immediately knew the problem -- evidently it happens a lot around here! He put the car in neutral and rolled it to a leveled area. The car magically turned on. He then explained the life lesson I mentioned above -- low gas, don't park downhill!

We got a good laugh and also enjoyed the day home! With all the snow days the past couple months we've had a lot of days where we've been home during work hours. Those are the best days! Why do we have to work in life? Oh right, so we can LIVE.

Last night I made rollatinis:

Ricotta, mozzarella, spinach, jalapenos, spices with three cheese tomato sauce on top! It was actually really good!

Sketchy was able to get the majority of the dryer vent situation completed. Just one more 10 minute thing, but he needs one more piece from Home Depot. For now I'm crossing it off the list: http://lifecameracraft.blogspot.com/p/1-year-plan.html. So far I'd say we have crossed off a lot of items. Thanks to the terrible long winter weather the yard work is moving slow, BUT we're seeing many more nice days/weekends so hopefully that all comes together this month! We're going to be working on removing the remainder of the english ivy and putting in a patio! I'm super excited to see what it'll look like.

If anyone has any suggestions for good patio companies or suggestions/helpful tips for diy patios, please do pass along!
