Friday was a leisure day. We caught up on some Thursday night TV -- Burn Notice and Graceland. Around 6 we headed out to the National's game. Most traffic I have ever encountered getting to the park! After about a 45 minute drive we arrived at the park to find our secret awesome street parking area pretty packed. There was just one tiny space which I was determined to fit in! I'd say it was pretty successful.
The game was good -- we won! Not something we've seen a lot of at the games we have been to. Also saw an advertisement for after series concert -- Thompson Square on July 6! I got really excited -- i've seen them in concern before but they're good and i love them just in life. They're really cute when they perform! =) So I was planning on using our voucher tickets for that game, but then Diana pointed out that we already have tickets for that game -- winning!
After the game, Sketchy dropped Lindsay, Robbie, Diana and me off at Whitlow's. We watched a live band which was really good -- they played oldies, pop, alternative rock AND COUNTRY. They were also pretty attractive. I don't think I've seen one band at Whitlow's that I have not liked. Afterwards, Diana and I made our way to Bottomline since VA's last call is so early (1am). We basically hung out with and got to know staff even better. Was an entertaining evening. Sketchy picked us up around 2:45. He's too good to me. sigh.
Good start to a weekend.
